The company moved to larger premises on Moniton Trading Estate from its original base in Cranbourne Lane, where it was founded six years ago by highly experienced technician Michael Paul. With more than 28 years in the trade, he has worked with a series of main dealers, before setting up his own business.
The company offers a comprehensive range of services for both cars and light commercial vehicles.
The premises has a fully-automated MoT station, as well as four individual service bays. These enable MPC’s skilled technicians to undertake all general servicing and mechanical repairs on any vehicles. This encompasses the initial diagnosis, then supply and repair to all problems. Errors in complex modern cars can be quickly found and rectified using the latest diagnostic equipment, while the company can even offer mobile repairs for vehicles (or owners) who are unable to make it to the garage.
The company now offers a tyre supply service with a dedicated tyre fitting bay, as well as bodywork repairs for all makes and models of vehicles. Thus allowing MPC to resolve all your motor maintenance needs, under one roof.
As well as its advanced worship facilities, MPC has a modern reception area where customers can relax with a coffee, watch TV and enjoy free wifi while their vehicle is being repaired or MoT'd. "We have created a professional environment, to give our customers the complete service they would expect from any main motor agent," explains Office Manager James Maddocks.
MPC’s technicians have more than 90 years of experience between them, having all worked at various main dealerships servicing and repairing brands such as VW, Audi, Aston Martin, Jaguar and Ford. The company has a vast wealth of experience in all makes and models.
The company’s technicians have each undergone extensive training, which is on-going to keep them abreast of the latest developments in automotive technology and workshop equipment. MPC is a member of the prestigious Bosch Car Service Network and has installed the latest Bosch-KTS diagnostic equipment, as well as fully training its technicians to use it. As an accredited Bosch Car Service Centre, MPC adheres to the network’s customer code of conduct, which is nationally approved by the Trading Standards Institute (TSI). As well as this, MPC are an approved AA Repair Centre.
The company is also an approved RAC repair centre under the RAC Repair and Go scheme. MPC has had a close relationship with the recovery service for more than five years and RAC members who break down in the area are often brought in to the company’s premises after being recovered.
MPC also works with large leasing and corporate customers, maintaining fleets of cars and light commercial vehicles. Due to the high quality of their workmanship and standards adhered to using the BOSCH car service network they now maintain prestige fleet vehicles, from new, through 27 major leasing companies such as British Gas and Lex Auto Lease, part of The Lloyds Banking Group. ‘However our private customers remain the important core of our Business’, says James.
